Today we will learn to draw a parrot in nine simple steps.
Materials Required
- A piece of paper
- Pencil or Pen
Step 1
We will begin by drawing the half portion of the parrot's hawk.
Step 2:
Complete the other portion of the hawk and draw the head portion of the parrot. Darken the lines to enhance the picture.
Step 3:
Now we will draw the eyes and the body outline of the parrot. The lines should be darkened in order to enhance the picture.
Step 4:
Add feathers to the body of the parrot. Draw wave like lines till the mid portion of the body and fill the rest of the body with long curvy lines.

After drawing feathers, we will continue with the tail of the parrot. It is very easy to draw since a few curvy lines can help you draw a perfect tail.

We have almost finished the body portion of the parrot, now we have to add the legs and claws of the parrot along with a portion of the branch were the parrot is sitting.
Step 7:
An extra addition of few leaves are recommended to give a realistic look to the picture.
Step 8:
Few more branches are added.
Step 9:
Add few more leaves to enhance the realistic touch and darken the important portions to highlight the picture.
